Aker BP Strengthens Commitment to tNavigator with Long-Term Platinum Club Agreement

We are pleased to announce that Aker BP has entered into a long-term Platinum Club contract for tNavigator, reinforcing a longstanding relationship built on technical excellence, innovation, and a shared commitment to maximising reservoir value.

As one of the leading independent E&P companies on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, Aker BP has consistently demonstrated a forward-looking approach to digitalisation and advanced reservoir management. The new Platinum Club agreement reflects the company’s continued confidence in tNavigator subsurface software platform. Our Director, Scott Harrison commented on the new agreement:

Aker BP has been a valued partner for many years, and we’re proud to see that relationship continue to grow. This long-term agreement is a testament to the trust they’ve placed in tNavigator and the collaborative approach both teams have taken to solve complex technical challenges. We’re excited to continue working closely with Aker BP as we support their digitalisation journey and help unlock further value across their assets.

Supporting Digital Transformation

This agreement will provide Aker BP access to explore the deeper integrated capabilities of the technology, while enabling closer technical collaboration between the two organisations. The Platinum Club program is designed to foster strategic partnerships, providing knowledge sharing and opportunities to influence future product development. Through this framework, Aker BP and the tNavigator team will continue working together to address complex subsurface challenges and accelerate digital transformation initiatives. The agreement also reflects Aker BP’s continued focus on digitalisation and integrated workflows across its asset portfolio. Jens-Petter Nørgård, Advanced Reservoir Engineer at Aker BP, commented:

One of the strengths of our relationship with RFD has been the openness and willingness to work together on real technical challenges. Digitalisation continues to play an important role in how we develop our workflows and make decisions across our assets, and having an integrated platform that supports that journey is increasingly valuable. This agreement provides a strong foundation for continuing to improve the way we work and drive innovation in the years ahead.

Looking Ahead

This agreement marks an important milestone in the relationship between Aker BP and the tNavigator team. We look forward to building on our successful collaboration, sharing expertise, and delivering continued value through innovation and technology leadership.

We thank the Aker BP team for their trust and partnership and are excited about the opportunities ahead as we continue shaping the future of digital subsurface solutions together.
