Software Automation Test Engineer with Python / AQA / SDET – Belgrade, Serbia

We are a leading IT company specializing in software development for reservoir modeling. We are seeking a skilled Python Software Test Engineer to join our team in Belgrade.

Full-time (Monday to Friday)

Job Description:
As a Python Software Test Engineer, you will create and maintain automated tests for GUI applications using Python and Squish. You will also perform manual testing to ensure functionality and regression testing for continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain GUI tests using Python and Squish.
• Debug software and verify fixes.
• Conduct manual testing to ensure software functionality.
• Perform regression testing.
• Collaborate with the team to design and refine testing frameworks.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of programming experience, with a strong command of Python.
• Experience with automated and manual testing.
• Basic Git skills.
• Proficiency in Linux shell, including writing simple scripts.
• Experience in software debugging (GNU Debugger).
• Responsibility, independence, and readiness to work on-site in Belgrade.

Preferred:

• Strong test design skills, particularly in GUI and software design.
• Experience in writing and refactoring tests and testing frameworks.
