When making multi-million dollar investments, we feel it’s only right to give your technical experts the best equipment. High-performance hardware costs are decreasing every day, and hardware-software systems that were expensive a few years ago can be purchased for a reasonable price. Taking into account the availability of multi-CPU & GPU computers, we should pay more attention to the software side in order to utilize all computational resources in parallel simulations. It doesn’t mean that we must go out and buy the most expensive technology available – often there is a very fine trade off between price and performance, and we are here to share our knowledge.

Rather than waiting hours or days to run models, tNavigator’s solver automatically detects all available cores and makes full utilisation of the processing threads to accelerate runtime allowing your experts to undertake a thorough analysis of your model, with more simulations and more time to analyse results.  Currently the most common and significant hardware installments of tNavigator are on:

    • Laptops
    • Workstations
    • In-house clusters
    • Microsoft Azure HPC
    • Amazon (AWS) HPC via MyRFD portal
    Cloud Computing
SaaS and HaaS are becoming ever more popular means of accessing technology.

With tNavigator, we can provide these solutions easily to give your business something fit for purpose. tNavigator is supported on Microsoft Azure HPC and Amazon (AWS) HPC, with full graphic user interface capabilities. tNavigator’s smart hardware utilization is the perfect match with the virtually limitless computing power of HPC platforms. This service gives users the ability to model and simulate large, complex subsurface systems in any desired timeframe. The elasticity and fast availability of cutting-edge technology create a great synergy with tNavigator’s parallel processing power. Thanks to virtual HPC solutions, many of our users have been able to turn around projects in a fraction of the time it used to take.

    Examples of such solutions:

    • MyRFD charged per hour, per node (minimum of 20 CPU cores, software included).
    • Call off purchase order model.
    • Block book cluster nodes from 1 hour to several years.
    • Data storage in the cloud.
    • Purchase an in-house cluster with full warranty and installation support.
