Business Development Manager in Lagos, Nigeria

Developing tNavigator software business in Nigeria
• Develop new leads and opportunities

• Managing the initial software sales cycle
o Giving software presentation to the new clients
o Managing software evaluation projects
o Negotiating the contracts
o Closing sales

• Leading the local team in sales and business development
o Coordinating and managing the work of the local technical team
o Building strong relationships with the new and existing clients
o Coordination with 1st and 2nd line support in the development center when necessary
o Set up meetings between client’s and company’s practice leaders/principals.

• Running company marketing activities in the region
o Exhibitions
o Advertising
o Technical workshops and conferences

• Deep understanding of the market
• Taking part in setting priorities for the software development team
• Taking part in company global activities in the other business regions

• 3-5 years of experience as software sales manager or business developer in petroleum industry
• Good connections in the professional society in Nigeria
• Experience with reservoir and surface network modelling software products
• Excellent communication skills
• Solution oriented
• Willing to travel
• Fluent in spoken and written English
